The monograph "Methods of cognitive analysis of the word semantics: computer-corpus approach" has been published under executive editorship of Dr., Prof. Vera Zabotkina, Vice-Rector for International Innovative Projects and Director of the Centre for Cognitive Projects and Technologies, RSUH. The list of the authors includes eminent researchers from Russian State University for the Humanities, such as Dr., Prof Elena Pozdnyakova, Dr., Prof. Maksim Krongauz and Dr., Prof. Igor Sharonov.
The monograph is devoted to the development of an integrated methodology of the analysis of two current scientific paradigms: cognitive and corpus. This methodology was developed by the authors as a result of integration of methods from different disciplines (such as linguistics, discourse theory, cognitive psychology and computer linguistics).
The work on the monograph was financed by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research within the initiative research project "Cognitive analysis of the word semantics (computer-corpus approach)» No. 11-06-00301 held in 2011-2013. The publication of the monograph was financed within the publishing project No. 14-06-07022 "Publication of the monograph "Methods of cognitive analysis of the word semantics: computer-corpus approach" supported by RFBR in 2014.
The publication targets linguists, experts in computer and corpus linguistics, semiotics, cognitive psychology and psycholinguistics.
