An international presentation of the new cycle of the 2016 ShanghAI Lectures was started on November 27th. Students, graduates and professors from universities in China, Germany, Spain, Japan and other countries participated in the first online broadcast. The opening of the lecture was attended by 28 students from Russian State University for the Humanities, namely, students of the Department of Intelligent Systems in the humanities, students of the Faculty of Information Systems and Security and students of the Department of Computational Linguistics.
Russian State University for the Humanities was represented by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation. Professor Vera Zabotkina told the European, Asian students and professors about the history of the University, its main strategy and ways of research in cognitive science. Organizational and technical support is provided by the Office for communications and technical support of the educational process and activities.
Lectures will be held on Thursdays until the 15th of December, 2016 (10.27.2016 - from 10:30 to 12:00, from 03.11.2016 on 12.15.2016 - from 11:30 to 13:00) in room 517. The lectures can by attended by all interested undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students. Mandatory requirement - fluency in English, as lectures are delivered by leading experts in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics from around the world in English without interpretation.
